Effects of Imazethapyr on Soybean Root Growth and Soil Microbial Communities in Sloped Fields

چکیده

The herbicide imazethapyr was previously recommended for controlling weeds in soybean fields. However, the effects of on soil microbial communities and their relationship with crop root growth sloped soils remain unclear. In this study, a field experiment conducted to explore growth, communities, co-occurrence networks, interactions between microbes growth. included two factors: slope imazethapyr. factor three different gradients: 5° (S1), 10° (S2), 15° (S3). treatments: (I1) without (I0) Thus, six total combinations treatments were tested study: S1I1, S2I1, S3I1, S1I0, S2I0, S3I0. results show that, compared I0 treatments, I1 significantly increased length, surface area, volume by 11.7~26.5 m, 171.7~324.2 cm2, 1.8~3.1 cm3, respectively, across all slopes. Proteobacteria, Actinobacteriota, Bacteroidota bacterial phyla Ascomycota Basidiomycota fungal found be top represented communities. Flooding effects on soil microbial communities

Flooding affects both aboveand below-ground ecosystem processes. While the below-ground changes may be less obvious, they are as important as the above-ground changes. Soil microorganisms are sensitive to disturbance, and shifts in soil microbial community structure are expected when anaerobic conditions develop from flooding. The primary objective of these studies was to determine the effect o...

Effects of Salinity, Imazethapyr, and Chlorimuron Application on Soybean Growth and Yield

Soybean is an important crop worldwide. Soybean cultivars differ in their sensitivity to soil salinity and herbicide damage. In these experiments, we examined the impact of salinization and herbicide (imazethapyr and chlorimuron) application on the growth and yield of two soybean cultivars, Essex and Manokin. Experiments were conducted in small pots in the greenhouse, in outdoor sand cultures, ...

Effects of an EPSPS-transgenic soybean line ZUTS31 on root-associated bacterial communities during field growth

The increased worldwide commercial cultivation of transgenic crops during the past 20 years is accompanied with potential effects on the soil microbial communities, because many rhizosphere and endosphere bacteria play important roles in promoting plant health and growth. Previous studies reported that transgenic plants exert differential effects on soil microbial communities, especially rhizob...

Effects of glyphosate on soil microbial communities and its mineralization in a Mississippi soil.

Transgenic glyphosate-resistant (GR) soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merr.] has enabled highly effective and economical weed control. The concomitant increased application of glyphosate could lead to shifts in the soil microbial community. The objective of these experiments was to evaluate the effects of glyphosate on soil microbial community structure, function and activity. Field assessments on soi...

on translation of politeness strategies in dialogues involving female characters in translations and retranslations of novels translated before and after the islamic revolution of iran and their effects on the image of women: a polysystem theory approach

abstract reception environment has considerable effects on accepting a translation. as the expectations of a target culture and its values and needs change throughout history, its criteria for accepting a translation or rejecting it will change accordingly (gentzler, 2001). the expectations of iran, as the reception environment in the present study, have changed after the islamic revolution. i...
